Preservation Architect
A prestigious architecture firm in Herzliya is seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, your main responsibility will be to preserve and restore historical buildings and structures while adhering to local regulations and guidelines. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that the integrity of these historical structures is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and architecture of assigned buildings or structures.
- Develop preservation plans that comply with local regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation process runs smoothly.
- Oversee the restoration process, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for preservation projects.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture.
- Strong understanding of historical building techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software programs.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew proficiency is a plus).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
