Junior DevOps Engineer


As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our company's software products. You will work closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of code and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the build and deployment process. Your primary goal will be to optimize and automate our processes to increase efficiency and improve overall system reliability. You must have a strong understanding of software development and operations, as well as experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Docker. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor production systems for any issues and troubleshoot as needed.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of code into production.
- Automate manual processes using configuration management tools.
- Continuously improve system performance through monitoring and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and implement them into our processes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in software development or operations.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or VirtualBox.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Location:
This position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
