Skilled Turner in Vilnius, Lithuania
We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining precision machinery to fabricate and repair metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract job with the potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machine tools and equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and saws
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to determine the methods and sequence of operations needed to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments to fit and assemble parts into complete units or sub-assemblies
- Monitor the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating machinery
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or relevant role in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of machine tools and equipment operation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise measurements
- Good understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
Location:
This job is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who have their own visa arrangements. English language skills are not required for this position.
