Job Title: Preservation Architect - Vilnius, Lithuania
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and cultural significance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history, architecture and cultural significance of buildings and structures.
- Develop detailed preservation plans that adhere to conservation principles and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors and other professionals to ensure proper restoration procedures are followed.
- Conduct site inspections and document existing conditions of buildings.
- Prepare drawings, specifications and cost estimates for restoration projects.
- Oversee construction work to ensure it is carried out according to plans and standards.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Stay updated on new preservation techniques, materials, technologies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Preservation Architect.
- Extensive knowledge of historic building materials, construction techniques and restoration methods.
- Familiarity with local preservation laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
