Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine (Vilnius, Lithuania)
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Vilnius. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious desserts and pastries that reflect the flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing innovative dessert menus based on traditional Indian recipes
- Preparing and baking a variety of desserts, including cakes, pies, cookies, and other sweet treats
- Maintaining inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Managing food costs and ensuring quality control measures are upheld at all times
- Training and supervising junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably with experience in Indian cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
