Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health of the database systems, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement procedures for data backup and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with developers to design efficient database structures and optimize query performance.
- Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Regularly review database security protocols and implement necessary updates to ensure data protection.
- Troubleshoot issues related to database access, performance, or functionality.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting periodic audits of databases.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in database technology.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL programming language.
- Experience with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
