Plasterboard Worker


We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Sheduva. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to project specifications
- Install plasterboard onto walls, ceilings, and partitions using appropriate tools
- Secure plasterboard panels with nails or screws
- Fill any gaps between panels with joint compound and smooth out surface
- Sand down rough areas of the surface for a smooth finish
- Apply primer and paint over plastered surfaces as needed
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas of existing plasterwork
- Follow safety protocols at all times on construction sites
- Communicate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Familiarity with various tools used in plastering, such as trowels, joint knives, sanders, etc.
- Physical stamina for working in potentially strenuous conditions (standing for long periods, lifting heavy materials)
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively
