Typesetter for English Language Books

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Kaunas. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for English language books according to specific design guidelines. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$.

The ideal candidate should have experience in typesetting for book publishing, with excellent proficiency in English language and grammar. Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and other design software is preferred. The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text, images, and illustrations according to specific design guidelines
- Ensure consistency in font styles, spacing, alignment, and overall layout
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project requirements
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality work within designated deadlines
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to typesetting software or file formats
- Proofread final layouts before submission for printing or digital publishing

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter for book publishing
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar skills
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and other design software
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for typography and layout design
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with different file formats such as PDFs, EPUBs, etc.
- Biometric passport from Pakistan (preferred)
- Experience working on English language books (preferred)
