Excavator Operator


We are hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials during construction projects. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining equipment, following safety protocols, and accurately following project plans and instructions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator equipment to dig trenches, level ground, and move materials according to project plans
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety procedures at all times and ensure the safety of others in the work area
- Communicate with other workers on the construction site to coordinate tasks
- Read and interpret project plans and instructions accurately
- Monitor excavation progress and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Keep records of daily activities including material usage, equipment operation hours, and maintenance performed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid license to operate heavy machinery
- Solid understanding of construction safety protocols
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation is provided for non-local employees. Visa sponsorship may also be available for qualified candidates.
