Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team in Siauliai. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring their safe and timely delivery. This is a physically demanding job that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive long haul trucks to transport goods across Canada
- Plan routes and adhere to scheduled delivery times
- Load and unload cargo following safety procedures
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, distance traveled, fuel consumption, etc.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers via radio or phone
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Ensure the safety of goods and equipment at all times
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, etc.

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver preferred
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian roads and highways
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
