Head Baker


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Baker to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery operations, including creating and executing new menu items, managing inventory, training and supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality products are consistently produced.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new bakery items based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise bakery staff to ensure consistency in product quality and customer service
- Oversee the baking process to ensure products are made according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to food safety guidelines
- Create work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitor product sales and make adjustments as needed to maximize profits

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a baker, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proficient in creating a variety of baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, etc.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus
- Must have own visa for working in Lithuania

Salary:
Competitive salary of 1300$ per month.
