IT Manager


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to oversee the technology operations of our company in Utena. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of our technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, security systems, and network connectivity. Your role will involve creating and implementing effective IT strategies to support business objectives and ensure the smooth functioning of all technology systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's technology infrastructure
- Develop and implement efficient IT policies and procedures
- Identify and address any technical issues or areas for improvement
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions
- Ensure all systems are running smoothly and securely
- Monitor network connectivity and troubleshoot any issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements to identify opportunities for innovation
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software purchases
- Develop disaster recovery plans to protect against data loss

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN configuration, VPNs etc.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable)

Location: Utena (Canadian or Filipino candidates preferred)

Type: Contract (3 months initially)

Language requirements: Fluency in English preferred but not required.
