Project Manager for International Development Projects in Utena, Nepal
As a Project Manager for International Development Projects in Utena, Nepal, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various development projects in the region. You will work closely with local communities and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of projects, including infrastructure development, community empowerment, and capacity building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans in collaboration with project partners and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables within budget
- Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project activities and provide technical support as needed
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
- Prepare project reports and maintain accurate records of project activities
- Participate in meetings with donors and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Development or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on international development projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
- Experience working in Nepal or other developing countries is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
Location: Utena, Nepal. Accommodation is not provided.
Nationality: Nepali preferred.
