Junior Database Administrator


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Utena, Nepal. As a Junior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of our company's databases. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to gain experience in database administration.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve database functionality and efficiency
- Provide technical support to end-users as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems (DBMS)
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Utena, Nepal (remote work not available)

Preference: Nepali nationality or local candidates preferred.
