We are hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier for our busy retail store in Utena, Canada. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using a point-of-sale system
- Ensure correct pricing and accurate scanning of items
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and policies
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving any issues or concerns
- Assist with inventory management by reporting any discrepancies or shortages

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Prior experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and make change accurately
