Loader Supervisor
As a Loader Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner. You will lead a team of loaders and ensure that all tasks are completed according to company standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as physical strength and stamina.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of loaders, ensuring they follow all safety procedures and complete tasks efficiently
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule loading and unloading activities
- Train new loaders on proper techniques for handling goods and materials
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or excesses to management
- Maintain clean and organized loading areas, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate with drivers to ensure timely loading and unloading of goods
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management
- Keep accurate records of loading activities, including inventory counts and time logs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a loader or in a similar supervisory role
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to loading activities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Preferred:
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
- Familiarity with operating various types of equipment used for loading/unloading
- Previous experience supervising a diverse team
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Utena, Lithuania
