Information Security Analyst (Entry Level)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our team in Washington. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1700 per month. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Respond to security incidents and perform incident investigations when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption methods, firewalls, and other security technologies
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Nmap, or Burp Suite
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in information security or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR)
