Android Developer

We are a growing tech startup based in Washington seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Flutter or React Native
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Published at least one original Android app
