We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Washington. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and designing text and images for various print and digital publications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$, ideal for someone looking to work part-time without accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and design text and images for print and digital publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality output
- Proofread and edit layouts for accuracy and consistency
- Maintain brand standards and style guidelines throughout all projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software/tools related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or relevant field
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Knowledge of printing processes, color management, typography, and layout design principles
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for consistency and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with different languages/scripts such as Filipino or Swahili
- Familiarity with web design and coding languages (HTML/CSS)
- Understanding of e-book formatting standards
