Android Developer

We are currently hiring an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Utena, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications for Android devices. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience developing native Android applications
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Salary:
1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
