Junior Copywriter


Our fast-paced marketing team is looking for a talented and creative Junior Copywriter to join us in Washington. As a Junior Copywriter, you will be responsible for producing engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing materials including social media posts, website content, email campaigns, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various marketing materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience, and product features to ensure accurate and effective messaging
- Proofread and edit all copy for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand voice and style guidelines
- Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Stay updated on industry best practices and continuously improve writing skills

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 1 year of professional writing experience (internships included)
- Exceptional written communication skills with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility in writing styles
- Familiarity with digital marketing tactics such as SEO optimization and social media trends
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:
- Experience working in the field of marketing or advertising
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Washington D.C., United States

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
