Floral Designer


We are a boutique flower shop located in the heart of Washington, seeking an experienced and talented Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, events, and everyday orders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and design, as well as prior experience working in a fast-paced floral shop.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements according to client requests and shop standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their orders and offering suggestions and recommendations
- Maintain inventory of flowers, supplies, and tools needed for daily operations
- Ensure all arrangements are completed in a timely manner with attention to detail
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Floral Designer in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and design techniques
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
Starting salary is $1600 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
Washington D.C., USA

Note: While English is not required for this position, fluency in Spanish is preferred.
