Nutrition Assistant


We are a healthcare facility in Washington, seeking a Nutrition Assistant to join our team. As a Nutrition Assistant, you will work alongside our team of dietitians to provide nutrition education and support to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for patients based on their dietary needs and goals
- Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients
- Collaborate with the dietitian to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure that all food served meets the prescribed dietary requirements
- Conduct grocery store tours and cooking demonstrations to educate patients on healthy food choices
- Keep accurate records of patient consultations, progress, and any changes made to their meal plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nutrition principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Washington, but we welcome candidates of all nationalities who are legally eligible to work in the United States.

Schedule:
This is a part-time position, with flexible hours available. No prior experience required.
