We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team at a bustling coffee shop in Washington D.C. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Requirements:
- Must be a Kenyan national or have relevant work experience in Kenya
- Prior experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art skills preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm welcome, take orders, and accurately process payments
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all drinks are made with great attention to detail and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, tables, chairs, etc.
- Restock food items, cups, lids, straws, napkins as needed throughout the shift
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about the menu or offer recommendations when needed
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management if necessary

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1600 per month.
