Executive Chef - Fine Dining
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to lead our fine dining restaurant in Washington. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute seasonal menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients
- Develop new dishes and recipes while maintaining the integrity of our restaurant's culinary style
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory, ordering, scheduling, and budgeting
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipe standards and presented beautifully
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to create innovative menus while also adhering to dietary restrictions or special requests
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with both back-of-house and front-of-house staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Salary: $1400 per week
