We are in search of a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Washington, USA. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and laboratory settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various instruments such as gauges, meters, sensors, and controllers
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with instruments using specialized tools and equipment
- Perform regular calibration of instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on each instrument
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for complex issues
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies related to instrument maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or laboratory setting
- Proficient in using specialized tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
- Knowledge of electrical systems and circuits is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
