Handyman for Residential Properties in Washington, D.C.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team in Washington, D.C. Our company specializes in residential properties and we are looking for a motivated individual to help maintain and improve our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general maintenance. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various maintenance tasks such as repairing walls, floors, doors, and windows
- Handle minor plumbing issues such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or repairs needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the properties
- Communicate with property managers and residents to address any concerns or requests

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in residential maintenance or construction
- Knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
