Body Repair Master - Washington, USA
As a body repair master, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. You will use your expertise and knowledge of automotive technology to assess the damage, create a repair plan, and execute necessary repairs using specialized tools and equipment. Your attention to detail and precision will ensure that each vehicle is repaired to the highest quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in body repair work
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and repair techniques
- Knowledge of different types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina for long periods of standing, bending, lifting, and working in various positions
Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to determine extent of repairs needed
- Create a repair plan based on damage assessment
- Use specialized tools and equipment to perform repairs on body panels, frames, doors, fenders, etc.
- Straighten bent frames and align body panels for proper fitment
- Remove dents using various methods such as hammering or pulling techniques
- Replace damaged parts with new ones or perform repairs on existing parts
- Sand, prime, paint, and polish repaired areas
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer specifications
- Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure proper functionality
- Keep track of time spent on each repair job for billing purposes
Salary: $1400 per month
