Data Mining Analyst - Atlanta, USA


We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, USA. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive business decisions. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month and accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various data mining techniques to collect and analyze large datasets
- Identify patterns and trends in the data that can provide valuable insights
- Develop algorithms and models to predict future outcomes based on historical data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations
- Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Continuously monitor data quality and make necessary improvements to ensure accuracy of analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data mining or analytics role
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simple manner
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment is preferred
