Barista - Coffee Connoisseur

As a Barista at our coffee shop in Atlanta, you will be responsible for creating and serving delicious and high-quality coffee beverages to our customers. We are looking for someone with a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Ensure consistent quality in every cup by following recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and handling complaints in a friendly and professional manner
- Keep the coffee shop clean and organized at all times, including the preparation area, seating areas, and restrooms
- Restock supplies as needed and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately while following company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or food service is a plus
- Proven experience as a barista or similar role; previous experience with specialty coffee is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, latte art techniques, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
