Experienced Pastry Chef
We are in need of an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Atlanta. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious pastry dishes and desserts. You must have a passion for baking and a keen eye for detail to ensure that every dessert is of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various pastry dishes and desserts according to recipes and menu specifications
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and sauces to enhance their presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Train junior pastry chefs on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure all food safety standards are met by following health codes and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating, and dessert presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1700 per month
Preferred Nationalities: Indians, Egyptians
