Glazier Supervisor

The Glazier Supervisor will oversee and manage a team of glaziers in the installation and repair of glass products in commercial and residential settings. They will be responsible for supervising the work of their team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and providing training and guidance as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a glazier, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per week and includes accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-English speaking candidates. Students with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of glaziers in the installation and repair of glass products
- Ensure all work is completed according to quality standards
- Provide training and guidance to team members as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary materials
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure work is being completed properly

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a glazier
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to glass installation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
