Job Title: Executive Chef (African and Nepali Cuisine)
We are seeking a talented Executive Chef with experience in African and Nepali cuisine to join our team in Las Vegas. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and creating delicious, high-quality dishes that represent the unique flavors and traditions of African and Nepali cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase the diverse flavors of African and Nepali cuisine
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary ingredients to maintain menu offerings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring African and Nepali cuisine
- Ensure compliance with health codes and regulations
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of African and Nepali culinary traditions and ingredients
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and work with management
- Understanding of food costs, portion control, and budget management
- Valid food handling certification
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
Location:
This role is located in Las Vegas. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who have a passion for African and Nepali cuisine. English language skills are preferred but not required.
