We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's computer network and systems, ensuring their smooth operation and maximum uptime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups of system data to prevent loss in case of hardware failure or disaster
- Develop and implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels on the network
- Install software updates and patches on servers and workstations
- Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan for future upgrades or expansions of the network

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls and VPNs
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Los Angeles but we welcome candidates from all nationalities.
