Information Security Analyst - Los Angeles (Part-Time)


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles on a part-time basis. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in information security practices, as well as strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect company systems and data
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities in the cyber security landscape
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach or incident
- Train employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role
- Knowledge of network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and other security tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary: $1500/month (part-time)
Location: Los Angeles (open to Egyptian nationals with visa sponsorship)
