Freelance Typesetter for Indian Publication - Los Angeles

We are seeking a highly skilled Typesetter to join our team of Indian Publication in Los Angeles. As a freelance typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. This position does not require English proficiency, making it a perfect opportunity for non-native speakers looking for part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software to format text, images, and other visual elements according to design specifications
- Work closely with editors and designers to ensure all content is accurately represented and visually appealing
- Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure all text is error-free before final publication
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative design ideas and create engaging layouts

Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national currently residing in Los Angeles with own visa/work permit
- Prior experience in typesetting or graphic design preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines accurately
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1000 per month (part-time)
