Plasterboard Worker

We are hiring a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboards in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboards to fit specific spaces, applying joint compound and tape to create an even surface, and sanding and smoothing out any imperfections. You may also be required to install insulation or soundproofing materials behind the plasterboards. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in plasterboarding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboards to fit specific spaces
- Install plasterboards onto walls, ceilings, or other surfaces
- Apply joint compound and tape to create an even surface
- Sand and smooth out any imperfections
- Inspect finished work for quality control
- Install insulation or soundproofing materials behind the plasterboards if needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plasterboarding
- Ability to use hand tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills
- Basic understanding of building codes and regulations
- Own transportation preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. You will be required to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with occasional overtime on weekends. The job may involve working at heights and in confined spaces. Protective gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves will be provided. As this is a physically demanding job, you must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
