Formwork Specialist

We are currently hiring a skilled Formwork Specialist to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling forms used in concrete construction projects. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of formwork design and be able to accurately interpret blueprints and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble formwork based on blueprints and plans
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Install reinforcing bars, scaffolding, and other support structures
- Ensure proper alignment and levelness of forms
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth surface using hand or power tools
- Remove forms after concrete has dried, clean them, and prepare for future use
- Maintain tools and equipment used in formwork construction
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Formworker or similar role
- Knowledge of formwork design, construction techniques, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and plans accurately
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
