Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in search of an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and front-end loaders. You will also be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on the equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in operating heavy equipment and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, and other machinery as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn or damaged parts
- Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Record daily job activities including hours worked, materials used, and progress made
- Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb onto machinery safely
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
$1000 per week

Location:
Los Angeles, United States (Preference for Indian candidates)
