Dishwasher Specialist


We are a busy restaurant in Los Angeles seeking a skilled Dishwasher Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Dishwasher Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that dishes are washed and sanitized in a timely manner. This is a contract position with free visa and ticket provided. No English language skills required. Preference for Indian nationals. Salary is $900 per month without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwashing equipment
- Ensure all dishes are properly sanitized before being returned to the kitchen
- Monitor water temperature and chemical levels in the dishwasher
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient flow of dirty and clean dishes
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to management

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
