QA Engineer


We are in search of a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Akron. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and identifying any defects or issues. This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per week. This role does not include accommodation and is open to Indians who are fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements
- Identify and report defects found during testing
- Work closely with the development team to resolve any issues and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not reoccur
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested
- Continuously improve testing processes and techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, etc.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications
- Knowledge of database management systems
