Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's data and systems. This includes identifying potential vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and monitoring for any suspicious activity. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all systems and networks are secure and up-to-date with the latest security protocols. Your role will also involve conducting risk assessments, creating security policies, and providing training to employees on security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with various security tools and technologies.

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Akron, Ohio

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security or a related field
- Knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
- Familiarity with encryption methods and tools
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM) are a plus
