We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Akron on a full-time basis. This position is perfect for someone with a strong attention to detail and an eye for design. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing layouts for print and digital media. You will work closely with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in all publications.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Proofread content for errors or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with designers and editors to ensure consistency in layout and design
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and design principles
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (preferred)

Salary: $1300 per month
