Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. We are looking for a Filipino worker who is willing to work on a contract basis with a starting salary of $1100 per month.

Requirements:
- Must be Filipino with legal working status in Akron
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Must have experience working with plasterboard and other construction materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in construction sites
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying sealant
- Mix and apply plaster or other materials to create smooth surfaces
- Repair damaged plasterboard or replace with new pieces as needed
- Follow safety guidelines at all times while working on construction sites
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role in the construction industry
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in plastering
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary
- Basic understanding of English preferred but not required
