Job Title: Formwork Carpenter


As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork structures according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a high level of skill and precision in order to ensure the stability and durability of the structures being built. You will work closely with construction teams to ensure that formwork is properly installed and aligned, as well as troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine formwork requirements
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to build formwork structures
- Install formwork according to established safety guidelines and procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as saws, drills, and scaffolding to build formwork structures
- Align formwork panels using plumb lines, levels, or lasers
- Fill cavities or gaps in formwork with grout or other materials.
- Inspect completed formwork for defects or imperfections.
- Collaborate with construction teams to troubleshoot any issues with the installation or alignment of formwork.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any potential hazards immediately.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or Formwork Carpenter.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- High level of physical fitness in order to perform tasks such as climbing scaffolding or lifting heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
-Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary: $900 per month

City: Akron
