Civil Engineer

A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, design, and implementation. You must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will not be provided. Fluency in English is required.

As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting site surveys and analyzing data to determine project feasibility
- Preparing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Overseeing the construction progress and making necessary adjustments
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
- Managing project documentation and preparing progress reports for stakeholders
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software programs
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and design standards
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
