Glass Installation Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Glass Installation Technician to join our team in Akron, United States. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass in various structures such as windows, doors, and storefronts. This position requires attention to detail, strong physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark glass according to specifications
- Cut glass using hand tools or automatic cutters
- Install glass in frames or onto structures using sealants or adhesives
- Secure glass in place with putty, screws, or other fasteners
- Repair or replace damaged glass
- Fabricate metal frames for installation if necessary
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Glazier or similar role
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Familiarity with various types of glass and their properties
- Knowledge of measuring techniques and tools
- Basic understanding of construction principles
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license (preferred)

Salary: $1300 per month

This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time hours. The working schedule will be determined based on project needs. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.
