Architectural Technologist


We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our growing team in Akron. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural plans and drawings for residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that designs meet the necessary building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to develop and produce detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models
- Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for project designs
- Prepare and review construction documents, including specifications and material selections
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are accurate and feasible
- Stay updated on building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings
- Assist with project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and client communication

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have own transportation for site visits

Salary: $1500 per month

This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for employment in the United States.
