Industrial Architect



Our architectural firm is seeking a talented and experienced Industrial Architect to join our team in Akron. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various industrial buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts for industrial projects.
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using CAD software.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility.
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during construction.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Architect.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations related to industrial projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This is a contract position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. Biometric passport or US citizenship/residency is preferred but not required.
