Job Title: Indian Executive Chef in Akron
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Akron. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and developing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative menus that showcase authentic Indian cuisine
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure a smooth operation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting, specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian ingredients, spices, techniques, and flavor profiles
- Ability to lead a team with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with menu development, cost control, inventory management, and ordering supplies
- Passion for creating delicious dishes that exceed guest expectations
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship or visa transfers
Salary: $1500 per week (contract job)
Location: Akron (no accommodation provided)
